Membership to Kassirie United for Development Association is open to all indigenes of KTC and its environs and their progeny, who are committed to the mission, goals, and objectives of KUDA, and are in compliance with the constitution, rules, and regulations of the KUDA.
Submit a typed, signed application for membership, including full name, address, and mobile number to your chapter Chairman, Secretary Gen or Financial Secretary by calling.
- Pay the requisite nonrefundable registration fee;
- Pay the annual nonrefundable membership dues;
- Pay all other dues that are levied from time to time;
- Participate in fundraising activities;
- Pledge to abide by this rules:
TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP:
- Full Membership: Those who meet all the requirements of membership, pay their membership dues as defined by Section 1 and 2 of this Article III.
- Honorary Membership: This is Membership accorded by the “Advisory Committee AC” to a non-indigene provided:
- the applicant is recommended by at least three active indigenous members of a chapter.
- the applicant has submitted an application as stipulated in section 2 of Article III
- Honorary members shall enjoy the same privileges of membership, as Full Members
- We welcome everyone from all over the world to be part of our community, whether you want to be a member or not. We want you to visit this part of West Africa, learn, and, if possible, invest or be involved in its development.
KUDA CODE OF CONDUCT & DISCIPLINARY RULES
KUDA strives to maintain and promote a high standard of conduct and discipline among its membership, the running of its affairs, its associations, and activities. Accordingly:
- KUDA members shall not engage in any activities that bring disrepute or infamy to the organization.
- KUDA members shall refer conflicts to TEC or its designated Committee for resolution;
- Fighting, use of abusive and/or vulgar language, and/or any other act(s) that disturb the public peace shall be subject to reprimand and/or loss of membership;
- Disorderliness or conduct unbecoming of membership in this organization shall not be tolerated including during meetings.
KUDA shall not be used as a political forum:
- No matter related to politics shall be introduced, discussed, championed and/or endorsed and/or posted on the KUDA Forum;
- No animosity shall exist based on political affiliation.
- It is nonprofit organization
Misappropriation, misuse, or theft of KUDA money, property and/or interest shall result in dismissal and prosecution in a court of law.
Penalty: upon a determination of a breach of a disciplinary provision, The branch chairman or National Advisory Council (NAC) shall establish a Committee to investigate and determine whether the gravity of the offense warrants a suspension, fine, fine and probation, or expulsion.
