History of the Organization

Kassirie United for Development is a community-based organization formed to ensure development, peace, togetherness, unity, and social cohesion amongst the Kassirie township’s native sons and daughters.
The idea came from Mr. Ibrahim Sapato Turay, who is currently in Kassirie Town and thought about bringing the indigenes of Kassirie Township together, both home and abroad. He started by creating a WhatsApp group comprising both home base and diasporas. The belief also further accounts for the fact that societies can only be developed by bringing key players together.
Before now, our Community, Kassirie township, Samu Chiefdom, has been disorganized due to our different political beliefs, and such division has been eating deep into our local fabric for a long time.
The idea was born from the fact that societies can only develop with people uniting for the good. Twenty years ago or so, unity was amongst the people of Samu Chiefdom; Communal activities were the bedrock that hugely promoted the Community to an admirable height.
United, we stand, and divided, we fall. The above is the ideal motto of our Organization.
Because of these, we want to bring back the past glory of our township by forming this Organization, which will be politics-free.
